The idea of REVIARE is rooted in a commitment to fashion that respects and nurtures our environment and society. In 2010 we recognised a gap in the market for high-quality, sustainable garments that not only caters to individualistic tastes but also embraces the principles of eco-consciousness, social responsibility and artisan craftsmanship.
Our founder, driven by a vision of a more circular future, embarked on this journey to create a concept that empowers individuals to express their unique identities while making environmentally and socially responsible choices. 15 years later, after a deep dive into the complex value chain of fashion followed by Circular Economy University studies and mothering two small children, we are ready to roll slowly. This regeneration is combined with highly renowned Textile Science studies at Uppsala University to further broaden and deepen our knowledge.

Circularity is not just about recycling, but keeping products in the game for as long as possible without compromising on luxury. Instead of tossing things out or breaking them down into scraps, we aim to preserve their complexity and functionality like a timeless classic.

At REVIARE, we narrow resource loops by using mainly handmade vintage lace scraps sourced from flea markets and thrift stores as well as gifts from friends passing on their great grandmothers crafted treasures.
This approach eliminates the need for new raw materials, giving forgotten treasures a second life. While we primarily work with natural fibers like linen and cotton, we also use vintage synthetic materials, ensuring they stay in circulation rather than becoming waste.
Each lace piece carries a symbolic weight, a tangible connection to the unknown women’s hands (mainly) that crafted it many decades ago. These threads of life, bring history and meaning to every REVIARE creation.
Our garments are crafted to slow the loop by prioritizing reparability and emotional value.
Each design is made from puzzle pieces, allowing damaged sections to be easily repaired or replaced without compromising the whole garment.
Beyond practicality, the unique nature of every item adds emotional value, fostering a deep and symbolic connection between the wearer and the piece. This attachment transforms each garment into a cherished part of one’s story, something to care extra for - and when passed on to the next wearer it carries a life history that adds to the value.
REVIARE closes the loop by making products that are fully recyclable and compostable. We avoid mixing materials - including the sewing thread composition.
While we design with the end in mind to ensure nothing is wasted, we hope that moment never comes. Our goal is for each garment to live a long, meaningful life with its wearer, being repaired, cherished and passed on as a timeless treasure.
But when its journey does end, it can gracefully return to nature or be reborn into something new, leaving no waste behind.

With 20 years in the fashion industry - from sourcing and factory visits in the Far East to design, product development, stakeholder management and modeling - we know the complex supply and value chain by heart. Combined with our ongoing education in Circular Economy, chemicals,

REVIARE mainly creates garments from discarded lace scraps, piecing together threads into a 3D puzzle that molds around the human body. Each piece holds a deep dignity and mystery, shaped by hours of detailed, often handmade labor. Who made these laces? Why? What was their purpose? These are questions that linger in the silence of the work carried within the delicate threads. Often made of linen - perhaps even grown and processed locally?
The lace pieces, once forgotten and discarded in thrift stores and flea markets, have been given new life through REVIARE’s craftsmanship. These materials - deemed meaningless and dull - are now laced together, transforming into something magical.
